What is High Frequency and the Benefits?
A gentle therapeutic skin rejuvenation which provides a germicidal effect in the skin killing bacteria to promote healing of stubborn acne particularly after extractions and prevent new PIH-post inflammatory hyperpigmentation causing blemishes, minimizes inflammation and redness, helps control oil and reduces the appearance of large pores. The added benefit of anti-aging effects can also be had by increasing circulation, oxygenates skin, stimulate collagen and elastin production to improve the appearance of puffy eyes, fine lines and wrinkles.
This Treatment is already included with our Restoring Acne Facial. It’s also a great add-on to any of our facial treatments but not recommended post chemical peels. A piece of gauze will be draped over the face and neck after an appropriate serum has been applied to prep prior to gliding the gas filled glass wand over the gauze. This treatment does not hurt. You will smell the clean scent of ozone being created which is the germicidal effect killing bacteria.
*Please Note: that only established clients may be permitted to have stand-alone high frequency treatments within a week of a facial treatment as maintenance for continued healing of acne. Stand- Alone price is $40.00 which includes cleansing and finishing products.
